PM Ramon L. Baylor

Ramon Louis Baylor was born September 12, 1938, to the late Herman M. Baylor and Geraldine M. Baylor in Washington, DC. Ramon was one of five children, all whom preceded him in death. In the year 2003, Ramon gave his life to the Lord at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Pastor Leon Lipscombe. Ramon graduated from Cardoza Senior High School in 1956. After graduation, Ramon began working at the Government Printing Office (GPO) in 1957. During that time, Ramon enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1962. Ramon retired after a successful career as Foreman in the Bindery Division of the Government Printing Office (GPO) in 1994. Before his retirement, Ramon and his sister Marguerite established a business called M&R Limousine Service in 1985. As of today, the company stands strong and he stood PROUD of what he had accomplished throughout the years. In 1981 Ramon became a Mason at Felix Lodge No. 3. Years later, in 1990 he was elected to serve as Worshipful Master of Felix Lodge No. 3. He was a faithful and loyal brother to all his fellow Brethren. Ramon had a love for all sports but his number one favorite team was the Washington Redskins. In his younger years he played for Cardoza Senior High School on the junior varsity football team. In the 1960’s he also played football for the DC Collegians Athletic Association. Ramon umpired football and softball for the D.C. Department of Recreation and the GPO leagues. Ramon loved spending time with family, worldwide traveling, mason brothers and friends. He enjoyed a nice barbecue on the grill and Uncle John’s fish. He also enjoyed watching Judge Judy and Steve Harvey Family Feud. Ramon Baylor leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, son Michael R. Baylor; granddaughter, Taejhon M. Baylor; grandson, Anthony M. Baylor; a dear life long partner Mary L. Suggs; one goddaughter, Donna Parker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, members of Allied Limousine Association and distinguished colleagues of Maryland/Washington Metropolitan Area. We will miss you Ramon, Uncle; Cousins; Pop; Mr. Baylor rest in eternal peace. We all love you!
